Your Role

The Project Manager, based in Thurnscoe Rotherham, will ensure the efficient delivery of all Projects from point of handover through to Project completion. In order to meet commitments to customers the job holder will liaise closely with respective departments including Sales, Design, Production, Quality, Finance and Despatch. They will also work closely with the Technical Advisors occasionally deployed on overseas sites by providing technical support and assisting with travel arrangements. Project Manager requires high levels of organisation, initiative, clear & concise communication skills. The Contracts Department plays a pivotal role in the business by co-ordinating the input of several disciplines to achieve excellent levels of customer service whilst ensuring project budgets are met. A focus on customer service levels, which is key to how Balmoral differentiates itself from competitors. They regard their service levels as their sustainable competitive advantage. The role is supported by dedicated administration team based in Thurnscoe manufacturing facility. The role demands high levels of initiative, drive & enthusiasm; you will be expected to act as an ambassador & role model for their business whilst demonstrating responsiveness and support to their customers, often in a climate of high pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from sales handover through to completion.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them informed and addressing inquiries in line with the Customer Communication Plan (CCP).
  • Maintain accurate project data, including milestones, costings, and sales values.
  • Drive proactive project management, securing drawing approvals, issuing invoices promptly, and managing variations.
  • Coordinate logistics, arranging UK and overseas shipments in line with export procedures and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Asset Manager and subcontractors, ensuring RAMS are in place and equipment is available for tank builds.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in creating, monitoring, managing, and reporting on UK projects.
  • Knowledge of export documentation (preferred).
  • Experience in direct customer contact within a B2B environment.
  • Solid academic background, including good GCSEs in Maths and English.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry (preferred).
