Main Purpose of Job: To work closely with the Production Manager to deliver a quality product to their clients in line with company strategy, ensuring quality, safety, production and financial targets are achieved.
Key Duties:
- To assist the Machine Setter in the set-up of CNC and bench machinery ready for manufacture of springs, wire forms and pressings to meet the agreed customer specification and delivery dates.
- Learn to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- To assist in the maintenance of machinery and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Help troubleshoot minor machine faults under supervision.
- To monitor production output in line with works order instructions and specified quality standards.
- To conduct basic quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment including verniers and 3D vision systems, in line with Company Quality procedures.
- To record production data on the works order and quality control record.
- To follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.
- To maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
