Duties and Experience:
You must have experience planning routes and have some exposure to managing teams. You will be planning routes for up to 10 vehicles and be responsible for 20 crew. This role will see you briefing crews before every job to ensure they are staffed correctly and that you're on budget. You will be up to date on all vehicle compliance such as repairs, CPC checks for your drivers, MOTs and servicing. You will be supported by a centralised compliance team too. Troubleshoot any issues which come up for your crew whilst they're on the road. Early starts are 7am, but as soon as your entire crew is back and paperwork is done you're good to go, but you will work 37.5 hours per week. Which sometimes might include an hour here and there on a Saturday morning to brief a crew if there is a removal that day, which you will get back in lieu the following week. The team in Trafford Park are brilliant, lots of camaraderie, solid relationships and they work very hard!
