MADE Careers is partnering with a globally recognised architecture, urbanism and design practice to appoint a Senior Marketing Manager.

This is a rare opportunity to become the right hand to the Head of Communications, playing a key role in leading an established marketing team and shaping the marketing strategy of one of the industry's leading design practices.

Working across integrated marketing, brand, content and communications, you'll lead campaigns from concept to delivery, support and mentor the wider team, and help raise the profile of the practice across multiple markets.

The Role

Working closely with senior leadership, architects and designers, you'll help drive day to day marketing activity while delivering creative campaigns that showcase the practice's people, projects and expertise.

We're looking for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with delivery; someone who can inspire others, bring structure to a busy team and continually find new ways to strengthen the practice's brand and market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Head of Communications' trusted number two, helping lead the day to day Marketing & Communications team
  • Lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, PR, events and internal communications
  • Develop compelling stories that showcase the practice's people, projects and thought leadership
  • Work closely with senior leadership and sector teams to strengthen the practice's profile and support strategic business objectives
  • Mentor and develop junior marketers, helping prioritise workloads and maintain consistently high standards
  • Champion creative thinking, identifying new opportunities to elevate the brand and engage audiences
  • Collaborate with Business Development on campaigns that support growth, client engagement and market positioning.
  • Manage multiple priorities across a busy international practice, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to an exceptional standard
  • Measure campaign performance and use insight to continually improve marketing activity

Requirements

  • Around 5 - 8 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within architecture, design or the wider built environment
  • A strong background across integrated marketing, brand, content and communications.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling and editorial skills
  • Experience leading campaigns from concept through to delivery
  • Previous experience mentoring or managing team members
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships across a business
  • Commercially aware, highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities with confidence
  • Curious, creative and always looking for better ways to tell stories and engage audiences

Benefits

  • Join a globally recognised architecture and design practice with a busy pipeline of projects across multiple sectors
  • Work alongside an experienced Head of Communications and senior leadership team
  • Broad, varied role with genuine influence across marketing, communications and brand
  • Opportunity to mentor and help shape a growing marketing team
  • Exposure to high profile international projects and campaigns
  • Hybrid working
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Why This Role

This is far more than a traditional marketing role.

It's an opportunity to become a key member of a highly regarded Marketing & Communications team, helping shape how an internationally recognised design practice tells its story.

Working across brand, campaigns, content, communications and business development, you'll have the opportunity to influence the practice's profile, mentor others and play a significant role in the continued evolution of its marketing function.
