MADE Careers is working with a highly regarded design led architecture studio seeking a talented Architect to join its London team. Working across a carefully considered portfolio of residential, heritage and mixed-use projects, this is an opportunity to join a practice where design quality, craft and thoughtful responses to context sit at the heart of the work.

The studio is looking for a recently qualified Architect with strong design instincts, excellent visual communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for architecture. Working closely with experienced architects and directors, you will play an active role across both design and delivery, contributing meaningfully from day one.

The Role

Working across residential, heritage and mixed-use schemes, you will play a key role in the day to day running of projects, supporting their progression from concept design through to planning and delivery. This position would suit an Architect looking to take on greater responsibility within a design focused studio, combining strong design thinking with project coordination, consultant management and technical delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day to day running of projects across multiple stages
  • Coordinate project teams, consultants and stakeholders
  • Produce high quality design, planning and construction information
  • Contribute to design development and project delivery
  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Help ensure projects are delivered on programme and to a consistently high standard
  • Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate

Requirements

  • ARB Registered Architect, 0-2 years post Part III experience
  • Previous experience within a well regarded, design led practice
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, visual judgement and attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation, graphic communication and visualisation skills
  • Strong drawing and design development ability
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and a 2D CAD platform
  • Good understanding of technical delivery and construction processes
  • Collaborative, proactive and confident working within project teams
