Job Description
We’re representing a leading AJ100 practice with a reputation for delivering some of the UK’s most ambitious housing, regeneration, and mixed use projects. With a strong pipeline of estate regeneration and large-scale masterplans, they’re looking for a Senior Urban Designer to join their London studio and take a lead role on high profile schemes shaping communities across the UK,
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the design and delivery of UK housing led masterplans and regeneration projects.
- Driving planning application submissions, including design access statements, design codes, feasibility studies, and community engagement.
- Managing and mentoring junior team members, supporting their professional growth.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Taking a hands-on approach to design while also steering project strategy.
What you’ll bring
- An architectural background with a postgraduate qualification in urban design or related field.
- Strong track record in UK housing and regeneration projects, with portfolios that demonstrate leadership on planning applications and design codes.
