We're looking for a technically strong Revit Technician / BIM Coordinator with previous experience working within a UK architecture practice to join a leading design led studio in London. Working alongside architects, designers and technical teams, you'll play a key role in the delivery of complex projects, ensuring BIM standards are maintained and technical information is coordinated to the highest standard.

The Role

This is a hands-on technical role supporting the delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio. Working closely with architects, project leads and consultants, you'll be responsible for developing and coordinating Revit models, maintaining BIM standards and ensuring project information is delivered accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate and maintain high quality Revit models and technical drawing packages across a range of projects
  • Support project teams through all RIBA stages, ensuring project information is coordinated, accurate and delivered to programme
  • Champion BIM best practice, supporting project teams in line with established BIM standards and workflows
  • Coordinate models with architects, consultants and wider design teams, identifying and resolving technical and coordination issues
  • Carry out model reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure consistency and compliance with project standards
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of BIM standards, Revit templates and project workflows
  • Work closely with project architects and technical leads to deliver coordinated, high quality design information
  • Provide day to day technical support and guidance to project teams on Revit and BIM related matters

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Revit Technician, BIM Coordinator or Architectural Technician, ideally gained within a UK architecture practice or a similar design led built environment consultancy
  • Advanced Revit skills with a strong understanding of BIM processes, model coordination and information management
  • Experience supporting projects through the technical design and construction stages, producing and coordinating high quality project information
  • A good understanding of the UK BIM Framework, ISO 19650 principles and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows
  • Experience working collaboratively with architects, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams to resolve technical and coordination challenges
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing and technical delivery
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering high quality architectural projects
  • Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar BIM coordination tools would be advantageous, but not essential
