A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Copywriter to join an award winning architecture practice in London.
Working within an established Business Development & Work Winning team, you'll play a key role in shaping how the practice communicates its projects, people and expertise. From thought leadership and award submissions to website content, project stories and marketing collateral, you'll create engaging, high quality content that reflects the strength of the practice and its work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident writer with a genuine interest in architecture and the built environment who enjoys translating technical information into compelling, audience focused content.
The Role
Working closely with architects, heritage consultants, technical specialists and senior leadership, you'll research, write and edit a wide variety of content across both print and digital platforms.
You'll be responsible for developing engaging project narratives, supporting the practice's work winning activity and maintaining a consistent tone of voice across all communications.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys storytelling, thrives on collaboration and takes pride in producing polished, thoughtful content.
Responsibilities
- Research, write and edit high quality content across a range of marketing and business development materials.
- Produce engaging project stories, thought leadership articles, website copy, award submissions, brochures and presentations.
- Edit and proofread content from colleagues across the practice, ensuring consistency, clarity and accuracy.
- Work closely with architects and technical teams to translate complex information into engaging, accessible copy.
- Develop content for social media, newsletters, email campaigns and internal communications.
- Help maintain a consistent tone of voice and brand across all written communications.
- Research industry trends and identify opportunities for new content.
- Support wider Business Development and Marketing initiatives where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer or Communications professional.
- Experience within architecture, design, construction or the wider built environment is essential.
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience writing project stories, thought leadership, award submissions or similar editorial content.
- Excellent interviewing and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders across a collaborative business.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of SEO and digital content strategy would be advantageous.
