MADE Careers is working closely with an established, internationally active architecture practice to appoint an Associate Director within its London team, focused on Industrial & Logistics. The studio has a strong, long standing position in this sector, delivering large scale warehouse, distribution and big box retail schemes across the UK and Europe. Following a recent internal restructure, this role sits directly alongside senior leadership, supporting the delivery of a key client account and playing a central role in the next phase of growth.
The Role
This is a senior, client facing position working closely with a Director as a true number two within a well established industrial team. You will take ownership of projects across all stages, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing consultants and ensuring consistent, high quality delivery across large scale schemes. Alongside project responsibility, you will support key client relationships and contribute to how work is maintained and grown. The role offers a balance of hands on delivery and team leadership, with clear visibility across both project and sector performance.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect operating at Associate or Associate Director level
- Strong experience across industrial, logistics or large scale commercial schemes
- Proven track record delivering projects through Design & Build procurement routes
- Confident leading teams and acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Strong technical understanding of industrial building design and construction
- Highly proficient in Revit, with an understanding of digital workflows
- Experience coordinating consultants across complex, fast paced projects
- Commercial awareness across programme, delivery and project performance
- Availability to start sooner would be beneficial, though not essential.
