MADE Careers is partnering with a globally recognised architecture, urbanism and design practice to appoint an Associate Creative Director within its London team. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly creative, cross disciplinary group responsible for shaping the ideas, narratives and strategic thinking behind projects across the world.
Operating at the earliest stages of the design process, the team works across architecture, masterplanning, place branding and experience design, helping clients define visions, unlock opportunities and create compelling stories around places, buildings and destinations.
The studio is looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with creative flair. Someone equally comfortable leading workshops, building narratives, creating presentations and sketching ideas that bring concepts to life.
The Role
Working within the practice's Ideas Lab, you will help develop the strategic and creative thinking that underpins major international projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, urban designers, interior designers and senior leadership, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling and commercially powerful narratives. The role combines strategy, storytelling, visual communication and client engagement, making it ideally suited to someone who enjoys working at the intersection of design, brand and placemaking.
Requirements
- Background in brand strategy, creative strategy, place branding, design consultancy or related fields
- Strong storytelling and narrative development skills
- Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual and written content
- Experience leading workshops, client presentations and strategic discussions
- Strong graphic communication and presentation skills
- Confident working across multidisciplinary creative teams
- Interest in architecture, cities, placemaking and the built environment
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools
