We’re looking for BIM Managers as we are partnering with two highly respected architecture and design studios; both known for their collaborative culture, design ambition, and commitment to digital excellence who are looking to hire an experienced BIM Manager to help shape and lead their studio wide BIM strategy. This is a key strategic role in a growing digital environment, working closely with project teams, senior leadership and multidisciplinary consultants across the UK and international markets.
The role includes:
- Lead BIM delivery across complex architectural, urban and mixed-use projects, ensuring full alignment with ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework and internal standards.
- Develop, implement and maintain studio-wide BIM protocols, models, templates and workflows.
- Oversee Revit model health, audits, federations and clash detection using Navisworks, ensuring high levels of data accuracy and coordination.
- Support teams day-to-day: troubleshooting, coaching, model setup and technical guidance across multiple live projects.
- Work closely with design leadership to embed digital processes early in projects and drive consistent BIM delivery from concept through technical stages.
- Collaborate with IT, Design Technology and external consultants to evolve the digital ecosystem across regions and project teams.
- Coordinate BIM Execution Plans, information requirements and delivery schedules, and lead project-specific digital kick-offs.
- Introduce and champion new tools, scripts and workflows (Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper etc.) to improve efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
- Deliver training, upskilling and onboarding for designers at all levels, fostering a digitally confident studio culture.
About you:
- 7 - 10+ years’ experience in an architectural or design studio, including significant experience in a BIM leadership or BIM Manager role.
- Expert Revit user with deep knowledge of families, worksets, coordination processes and large-team environments.
- Strong Navisworks experience (clash detection, federations, reporting).
- Understanding of ISO 19650, information management and BIM workflows across all RIBA stages.
- Confident communicator able to work with project teams, senior leadership and clients across multiple regions.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and able to operate independently while driving studio wide digital consistency.
- Experience mentoring, training and supporting designers at different levels.
- Bonus: experience with Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper, BIM 360/ACC, Enscape, Rhino.
