Architect / Senior Architect โ Education (DfE)
Weโre partnering with a leading design-led studio in London to recruit Architects and Senior Architects with strong education/schools experience, particularly working on DfE-funded education projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-respected team delivering ambitious learning environments across the UK.
The practice has a long standing reputation for delivering thoughtful, high quality schools; from primary and secondary to specialist and SEND. Theyโre looking for designers who can bring strong technical ability, clear communication and a passion for creating meaningful spaces for students and communities.

The Role
- Contribute to the design and delivery of DfE-funded primary, secondary and specialist schools, from early concept through detailed stages
- Work closely with senior team members to support programme, coordination, and technical design
- Communicate confidently with clients, local authorities and consultant teams to maintain design clarity and project momentum
- Support the development of coordinated Revit models, technical details and documentation aligned with DfE requirements
- Take responsibility across multiple work stages, offering both design input and technical problem solving
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative studio culture and support junior team members where needed
About You
- DfE school experience is essential, ideally across multiple stages
- 2 โ 5 years post qualification experience in UK architectural studios
- Confident working on education-led projects with strong technical and design capability
- Excellent organisational, communication and client facing skills
- A proactive team player with leadership potential and the ability to manage deadlines
- Strong Revit skills essential; confident working within large coordinated models
- ARB / RIBA / RIAS registered (or equivalent)
- Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and DfE technical standards
