We are currently recruiting for a Partner to join our team.
This is an exciting position at our growing and ambitious law firm in the heart of the City.
The successful candidate will be 8 years PQE or more and will assist in leading the Corporate team to service our existing clients and to expand and develop a new client base in this area. You will have the full support of the partners and colleagues in other departments.

The Opportunity
This varied role is a fantastic opportunity to work within and help lead a friendly and approachable team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supervising and running matters involving:
- drafting contracts and JV agreements
- mergers and acquisitions
- banking & finance
- IPOs
- Bond issuances
About you
The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in an established Central London or regional practice and have in the region of 10 years post-qualification experience. They should be able to manage their own files, act autonomously, be technically excellent and commercially astute. They should have strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service, be enthusiastic about business development and lastly, they should have a following in excess of £100,000.
We are very much looking for team players with a strong client focussed approach. As well as being able to use cloud based document management and time recording systems the successful candidate will also have a good academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills. The candidate will also be hands-on and interested in being involved in the management of the department.
You will be given early responsibility and opportunities to help develop client relationships and expand the department.

About the Firm
Maddox Legal Limited has long-established relationships with a range of intermediaries, referrers, and repeat clients. Our team advises companies, high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, insolvency practitioners and many more. You will be working alongside the firm’s owners, Joss Alcraft and Mark Archer, both themselves corporate law specialists.
