The Role
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will have full end-to-end responsibility for projects from concept through to contract. You will identify commercially viable opportunities, structure funding-led solutions, and build long-term relationships that drive sustainable revenue and EBIT growth. The role covers domestic programmes and wider Energy Infrastructure Services solutions, often involving complex programmes with multiple workstreams and funding mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and secure high-value renewable and energy infrastructure programmes
- Take full ownership of projects from initial concept through to contract award
- Leverage internal funding routes alongside external funding streams
- Build and manage senior and director-level relationships across public and private sector organisations
- Deliver domestic programmes and wider Energy Infrastructure Services solutions
- Structure and execute complex, multi-workstream programmes
- Maintain long-term customer relationships to maximise ongoing EBIT value
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project development and delivery
About You
- Proven experience securing multiple multi-million-pound contracts
- Background in energy efficiency, renewables or end-user focused environments
- Strong track record of delivering against challenging sales targets
- Experience operating at Director and Board level with external and internal stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
- Strong understanding of the UK energy and solutions marketplace, including funding initiatives
- Experience developing tailored, commercially viable business propositions
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
