Branch Manager
£55-70k basic + exceptional OTE + Car + benefits
A high-growth UK group is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a £9m+ standalone business unit. This role offers full P&L ownership, high autonomy, and the opportunity to shape and scale a commercially driven operation. Job Purpose:
To lead, grow and optimise the branch, driving profitability, commercial development, operational excellence and strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L responsibility – driving turnover, margin and operating profit.
- Set and deliver financial forecasts, tracking performance through KPIs.
- Lead sales growth and market development, expanding existing and new revenue streams.
- Build and manage senior supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, terms and annual agreements.
- Oversee operations, logistics, stock management and admin teams to ensure high service levels.
- Recruit, motivate and develop staff, particularly within the sales team.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant UK/EU regulatory requirements and maintain ISO standards.
- Consistent year‑on‑year turnover and profit growth.
- Delivery of forecast commitments and operational KPIs.
- Strong supplier partnerships and increased market presence.
- High service levels including OTIF, accuracy and stock availability.
- A motivated, high‑performing team with clear structure and accountability.
- Strong commercial & financial acumen with proven P&L experience.
- Track record of driving B2B sales growth.
- Strategic, analytical, detail-focused and commercially driven.
