Working as part of Madano’s Creative Practice, the Presentation Designer plays an important role in delivering high-quality, visually engaging materials for our clients. Collaborating closely with creative and client services teams, this role combines strong design expertise with technical PowerPoint capability to bring complex content to life in a clear and compelling way. The Presentation Designer has a strong eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling, alongside advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Google Slides and Adobe Creative Suite. They are responsible for translating ideas and data into effective presentation formats, ensuring all outputs are aligned with brand guidelines and delivered to a consistently high standard. This role involves working across multiple projects, from initial briefing through to final delivery. The Presentation Designer is accountable for interpreting briefs accurately, managing timelines, and producing creative, well-structured presentations that meet client needs. They will also contribute to team collaboration, support wider creative projects where needed, and uphold best practices across design, file management and production processes.
Core responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality, visually engaging PowerPoint (and Google Slides) presentations for clients, translating complex information into clear, compelling visual stories.
- Apply strong design fundamentals (typography, layout, colour and composition) to create polished, on-brand materials.
- Develop and build dynamic presentation templates, ensuring consistency in style, formatting and data visualisation.
- Integrate creative assets including graphics, charts, infographics, animations, and multimedia and interactivity to enhance presentation impact.
- Manage projects from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Project Managers and Account Leads throughout projects, contributing to briefings, scoping and progress updates.
- Ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines, licensing requirements and internal quality standards.
- Optimise presentations for performance and usability across formats and platforms.
- Maintain best practices in file management, version control and documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical and design issues as they arise.
- Support wider creative and digital projects and contribute to internal learning and knowledge sharing.
What you bring
- Advanced PowerPoint (and Google Slides) skills, with the ability to create sophisticated, functional, interactive and visually engaging presentations.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- A keen eye for detail, with high standards for accuracy and quality.
- Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, layout and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to interpret data and content and translate it into effective visual formats.
- Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across outputs.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
