We are seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic Karaoke DJ to create an energetic and engaging atmosphere at our entertainment venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for hosting karaoke nights, managing song selections, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities
- Host karaoke nights, encouraging guests to participate and ensuring a fun, inclusive atmosphere.
- Manage song requests efficiently, maintaining an organised playlist and sound system.
- Operate audio equipment, microphones, and lighting to optimise the entertainment experience.
- Engage with guests, making announcements and providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the DJ booth and surrounding area.
- Monitor sound levels to comply with venue regulations and minimise disturbance to neighbouring areas.
- Collaborate with venue staff to coordinate event schedules and special promotions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DJ or host in a similar entertainment setting is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and personality are key.
- Good knowledge of karaoke systems, sound equipment, and music formats.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Organised with strong time management skills to handle multiple requests smoothly.
