Youll have the opportunity to get involved in all things Mad Swans, from padel lessons to cocktail workshops, after all, we want you to be as excited by our product as we are.What there is to itAs this is a brand-new role for a new opening, youll step into a key position within a vibrant restaurant team leading by example, delivering excellent service, and setting the tone for smooth, welcoming dining experiences from day one.The key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:Working closely with the Assistant General Manager to oversee and run the RestaurantCovering the Bar Team Leader as and when requiredDelivering an amazing guest experienceProactively upselling within the Restaurant and Bar and maximising sales revenuePromoting our Mad Swans Loyalty ProgrammeAssisting with guest enquiries and act as a key point of contact for guests interested in booking any overnight accommodation, tables in the restaurant or any sports activitiesEnsuring the Restaurant and Bar is clean, tidy and well-presented at all timesWorking closely with the team and being very hands on during operational hoursTaking accurate food and beverage orders, answering questions about the menu, and making recommendationsInforming guests about potential allergens and dietary restrictionsEnsuring prompt and courteous service of food and beverages, maintaining consistent high standards of quality and presentationAssisting in clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficientlyEnsuring the dining areas remain clean and tidy before, during and after serviceEnsuring all service stations are ready for service and maintained throughout service with napkins, cutlery, and glasswareLine managing and supervising the Restaurant Front of House Team MembersLeading by example and motivating the Restaurant Front of House Team to deliver a high level of guest serviceAssist and support the Assistant General Manager with recruitment, new starter on-boarding and trainingSupporting the Assistant General Manager by preparing rotas and working schedules for the RestaurantHandling guest complaints and feedback, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly to ensure guests have a positive experience.Providing friendly, efficient and professional service to all customers, anticipating their needs and helping when necessaryThis is a full-time permanent position and will work any five days out of seven.

The salary for this role is circa £35,000/annum.Location this is an onsite role and will be located at Mad Swans in the Mendips, Marsh Lane, Farrington Gurney, Bristol, BS39 6TS.Working Hours shift times will vary throughout the week; however, the operational times will be from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm.Working Days this role will work any five days out of seven and will involve working on weekends on a regular basis.
