Mad Swans is looking for full-time, part-time and weekend Kitchen Porters to join our budding team. You’ll be the first person to step into these shoes and shape this brand-new role based at our second site: Mad Swans in the South Downs, located in Blacknest near to Farnham & Alton.

We are experts in our field, committed to creating boundary-pushing social spaces that spark meaningful connections through play in nature. Mad Swans is a countryside hangout for mavericks, offering social play spanning Padel Tennis, Pickleball, Darts, Shuffleboard and Golf. We’re all about great food, with two distinct dining experiences: The Potting Shed and The Hangout.

What there is to it
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Kitchen Team by ensuring the Kitchen is clean, organised and an efficient space. The key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Ensure all dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment are clean and ready for use
- Help unpack and organise deliveries, ensuring our pantry is stocked correctly
- Lend a hand with food preparation, from peeling vegetables to fetching ingredients
- Maintain a clean, safe and sanitised environment, ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Organising kitchen stock, utensils, and ingredients
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned well on a daily basis
There are a number of full-time, part-time and weekend positions. Earnings are £11.65/hour to £13.50/hour, including TRONC (Tips & Service Charge), depending on age. This is an onsite role located at Mad Swans in the South Downs.
