Mad Swans is looking for a full-time Junior Sous Chef to join our budding team here at Mad Swans in the South Downs.

What there is to it:
As a Junior Sous Chef at Mad Swans in the South Downs, you'll play a key role in the kitchen leadership team and delivering exceptional food to our guests. The key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Head Chef and the Sous Chef.
- Work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure the best service.
- Offer suggestions, creative ideas, and ways to improve kitchen performance, menu options, and service.
- Oversee and supervise kitchen team.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and food safety standards.
- Help to complete weekly stock takes and manage orders, deliveries.
- Represent Mad Swans and the wider company with pride and professionalism.
- Report any Health & Safety issues to the Head Chef.
This is a full-time permanent position and will work any five days out of seven. Working hours will vary in line with the operating calendar and needs of the business.

- Experienced and has previous experience in a Junior Sous Chef role.

- Strong organisational skills and able to multi-task.
