Overview
Seasonal Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate – MAC, Queens Center at Macy\’s. This role focuses on supporting beauty needs, educating customers, and driving sales.
What You Will Do
- Greet customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Use product knowledge to give expert guidance based on customer wants, features, and choices
- Build relationships with customers by introducing beauty products and identifying needs
- Demonstrate and apply makeup on customers
- Maintain display organization, inventory storage, and restocking
- Engage with our clientele program to connect with customers, inform about promotions, enroll in rewards, and achieve sales goals
- Participate in pre-selling and sales-boosting events
- Stay current with training via Macy’s educational resources, vendor trainings, and virtual trainings
- Merchandise new arrivals and manage damages, testers, and returns to vendors
- Use point-of-sale technology to sell and fulfill customer orders
- Follow hygiene standards and asset protection procedures
- Foster an inclusive environment that strengthens relationships with colleagues and customers
What You Will Need
- Product knowledge: understand beauty products and provide expert guidance
- Communication: comfortable with customers virtually, by phone, and in person
- Sales: ability to build relationships, meet sales goals, and participate in events
