Mactech is recruiting multiple Electricians for direct engagement opportunities with our client at Hinkley Point C – one of Europe\’s largest and most advanced nuclear construction projects.
This is a long-term, career-defining opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, installing a wide range of electrical systems in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

As part of the on-site construction team, you will:
• Install: Wiring systems, trunking, conduit, lighting, power, fire alarms, security & BMS.
• Ensure Compliance: Work in line with BS 7671 regulations and strict site HSE protocols.
• Deliver Quality: Carry out testing, inspections, and commissioning to high standards.
• Troubleshoot & Innovate: Diagnose issues and suggest practical improvements.
• Collaborate: Work closely with other trades and support project supervisors.
• Document: Complete certifications, reports, and track resources.
• Operate Safely: Handle tools and equipment safely, including lifting and access gear.
• Mentor: Support apprentices and foster a positive, skilled team environment.

Candidates must hold one qualification from each category below:
1. Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Installation Apprenticeship or ECS Gold Card plus
2. AM2 or FICA plus
3. CCNSG or ECS HS&E Test

Rates of Pay (ECSA Site Agreement) – depending on experience:
• Basic: £27.17 – £28.18 per hour
• Overtime A: £38.04 – £39.46
• Overtime B: £48.91 – £50.73
• Milestone Bonus: up to £2.72 – £2.82 per hour
• Lodge & Travel Allowances: Paid where applicable

Work Pattern
• 11 days on / 3 days off
• 10.5 hour shifts
• Day and Night Shift roles available
