11 Days On / 3 Days Off

We are looking for experienced Electrical Chargehands for our client at Hinkley Point C to oversee and support high-quality electrical installations. You will lead a team of Electricians and Apprentices, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision at every stage.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supervising and working alongside the team on electrical installs, maintenance, and repairs
  • Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety, industry regulations, and project standards
  • Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and quality inspections
  • Managing workflow, equipment, materials, and technical documentation
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving onsite electrical issues
  • Liaising with Electrical Supervisors and Site Management to maintain progress

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or chargehand role
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, testing & installation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Confidence interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality

Required Qualifications (One from each category):

  • Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Installation Apprenticeship or ECS Gold Card
  • AM2 or FICA
  • LATS, SSSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
  • CCNSG or ECS HS&E Test

Pay & Perks (ECSA Agreement):

  • Basic: £29.37/hour
  • Overtime A (OT1): £41.12/hour
  • Overtime B (OT2): £52.87/hour
  • Milestone Bonus: Up to £2.94/hour
  • Lodge & Travel Allowances: Where applicable
  • 11 days on / 3 days off
  • Shifts: 10.5 hours
  • Day & night shift roles available
