TIG & MMA Welders required for Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station - Somerset.
Potential gross earnings of over £113,000* starting March/April 2026. Long-term opportunities available.
Mactech have opportunities for Welders experienced in both TIG and MMA for Cavendish Nuclear (part of MEH Alliance) at Hinkley Point C, the UK's largest infrastructure construction project.
Pay Rates:
- £29.34/hr - Monday to Thursday (38 hours)
- £35.94/hr - Nightshift
- £41.08/hr - OT1
- £52.82/hr - OT2
4 day working week option or 11 days on / 3 days off. Regular overtime available.
*Above gross earnings inclusive of lodge and travel allowances (where applicable) based on 11/3 rotation.
Benefits:

Suitable candidates will have:
- A background in high integrity pipe and structural welding
- Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Welding/Fabrication or Welding Apprenticeship
- ACE Card (Pipe or Plate Welding) or minimum 5 years' welding experience in a relevant industry (oil & gas, nuclear, power, petrochemical, marine, shipbuilding, chemical, refinery, etc.)
- CCNSG Safety Passport (can be obtained prior)
