The Interface Coordinator will work collaboratively with the interface manager, Employer's other contractors and any Statutory Contractors.
Main Responsibilities
- Complete list of all the interfaces and information, including all associated dates, required by the business to fulfil their contractual obligations and scope of design works.
- Respond, within the timescales required/agreed, to all interface queries directed to client and sub-contractors.
- Attend Interface Management meetings, arrange, attend any additional meetings necessary to support the regular progress of the works, and will arrange these directly with the other companies involved, providing that copies of any correspondence/minutes exchanged be issued to the Project Manager at the same time.
- Maintain the Engineering Interface Plan and Construction Interface Manual during the construction and commissioning phases of the Contract and shall include within this plan any Field Change Requests (FCR) that the Project Manager requires to be incorporated.
- In accordance with the conditions of contract, co-operate with the organisations Employer's Personnel, Employer's other contractors and any Statutory Contractors regarding obtaining and providing information, to ensure that works and Project can proceed in a timely and efficient way.
- Responsible for the following Key Engineering Interface Documents: Engineering Interface Query Form, Engineering Interface Response Interface Query Log and Interface Plans.
Role Qualifications
- NVQ 3 in Construction Site Supervision.
- Experience in supervisory role in constructions or trade, particularly working on large infrastructure or mechanical/civils projects.
- A-C Grade GCSE results.
