Accountabilities:
- To ensure that the works are completed on time and within the organisation's specification and quality standards.
- To be acquainted with contract(s) of subcontractors and/or Self Performance for defined scope.
- To verify and report work done by subcontractors and/or Self Performance for defined scope.
- To ensure direct management, supervision and direction of Self Performance acquired erection personnel and forces to install the assigned works within the discipline and ensure the works are completed on time.
- Verification, explanation and clarification (in verbal and written form) of erection documentation to erection forces (either subcontract or Self Performance).
- Identifying materials and tools/equipment required to execute the works within the discipline.
- Validate material request form issued by Subcontractors or Self Performance team.
- Executing all necessary actions to ensure all associated packages within the discipline are ready for turn over to commissioning in accordance with the schedule.
The ideal candidate will have worked as a Steel Erection Manager/Supervisor on large, complex sites (ideally on power plants, large infrastructure projects, highly regulated environments etc).
- Supervision of the subcontractor's personnel.
- Executing the discipline works erection strategy.
- Execution of mandatory and conformity tests.
- Checking correct and timeliness preparation of Site Works Conformity File (SWCF) by subcontractor.
