We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Loanhead. As the first point of contact for MacTaggart Scott, you will play a key role in creating a professional, friendly, and memorable experience for visitors, clients, and colleagues alike. What You Will Do:
- Welcome visitors and ensure all sign-in and security procedures are followed.
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately and taking accurate messages.
- Present health and safety induction videos as required for site visitors.
- Handle daily correspondence, sorting mail, scanning, photocopying, filing, and preparing documents.
- Maintain and update records using Microsoft Office and ERP (IFS) systems.
- Process travel requests and manage meeting catering arrangements.
- Order and manage office supplies to ensure consistent availability.
- Keep the reception area professional, organised, and presentable at all times.
- Provide proactive administrative support to HR and other departments.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide cover for the full-time receptionist during periods of absence or annual leave.
