This position offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of test activities, provide leadership to Test Fitters and Apprentices, and work closely with Engineering and Planning teams to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety and performance are achieved.
As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out test activities in accordance with engineering instructions and approved procedures. You will act as a key technical link between Engineering and the shop floor, ensuring test requirements are fully understood, documented and delivered.

- Supporting efficiency, quality and cost-reduction initiatives
- Assisting in trials for new processes and improvements
- Promoting and maintaining strong health & safety standards
- Supporting apprentices and fitters with technical guidance
You are technically capable, detail-oriented and motivated to deliver excellence. You enjoy working with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks while supporting those around you. You communicate effectively at all levels and thrive in a collaborative engineering environment.
You understand the importance of safety, quality and security — particularly within defence environments — and approach your work with professionalism and integrity.
