- You will do
As Senior Environmental Consultant, you will
- Lead environmental compliance and sustainability projects from inception through to completion
- Deliver environmental legal compliance audits and risk assessments
- Develop Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ISO 14001 programmes
- Prepare environmental permit applications and supporting documentation
- Provide expert advice on UK environmental legislation and best practice
- Act as an outsourced Environmental Manager for client organisations
- Build trusted relationships with clients, regulators and key stakeholders
- Deliver technical reports, environmental documentation and compliance advice
- Mentor junior colleagues where appropriate
- Support business development through proposals, tenders and identifying new opportunities
- You will have
- To be successful as Senior Environmental Consultant, you will ideally have:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Around 5+ years' environmental consultancy or environmental compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation
- Experience of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
- Environmental auditing and compliance experience
- Environmental permitting knowledge
- Excellent project management and client-facing skills
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Lead Auditor qualification and/or membership of ISEP, CIWEM or similar would be advantageous
