You will be progressing electronics/engineering sales from Wokingham HQ for an innovative engineering technology company renowned for solving challenging problems for blue-chip clients in the renewable energy, security, medical, transportation, aerospace and defence industries.

The job itself involves managing incoming enquiries from customers/potential customers and following up as required to maximise sales. You will pro-actively manage the order book and logistics interface between the company and its customers and suppliers – from order entry to delivery, along with managing any post-delivery issues.

Responsibilities fall under the headings of estimating/quotations, order book management, CRM administration & support to wider sales teams.

To be successful as Internal Sales Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

  • Educated to a minimum of A-level standard or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electronic components (desirable)
  • Enthusiastic, experienced and successful sales person
  • Experience of working in a B2B sales environment
  • Proven customer relationship management experience
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Experience of MS Office and in-house systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Data input accuracy
