The Key Account Manager – OEM / POD / Modular role itself, where you'll develop new and repeat business nationally across Original Equipment Manufacturers, bathroom pods, offsite and modular construction.

Combining key account management and business development, you'll grow existing strategic accounts while identifying and converting new opportunities, positioning the company as a key partner to OEM and modular manufacturers.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Developing and growing national OEM, POD and Modular accounts.
  • Winning new customers and increasing profitable sales with existing accounts.
  • Building senior-level relationships with key manufacturers and decision-makers.
  • Securing product specifications across major projects.
  • Developing a strong pipeline through CRM, market intelligence, networking and project research.
  • Driving a system-sell approach across both behind-the-wall and front-of-wall products.
  • Identifying target accounts, stakeholders and short/long-term opportunities.
  • Negotiating major tenders and commercial agreements.
  • Working with Estimating and Finance to ensure sustainable, profitable proposals.
  • Collaborating with regional Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers to convert project opportunities.
  • Delivering product presentations, technical information and customer training.
  • Managing your own national territory, journey planning and sales activity.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM information, project data and sales forecasts.

You will have

To succeed as Key Account Manager, you'll be an accomplished technical sales professional with proven experience selling into OEM, Bathroom Pod, Modular or Offsite Manufacturing customers.

You will have

  • Existing relationships and networks within the OEM/POD/Modular manufacturing market.
  • Proven B2B sales, account management and new business development experience.
  • Track record of achieving sales and margin targets.
  • Ability to identify, develop and convert major project opportunities.
  • Experience preparing commercial proposals and negotiating tenders.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking and influencing skills.
  • Confidence presenting technical products and solutions at all levels.
  • Technical aptitude combined with strong commercial awareness.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage a national field sales territory autonomously.

Experience working with merchant partners supplying the OEM sector and formal sales training would be advantageous.
