Field service & repair of commercial kitchen & laundry equipment in the London region, UK for an established specialist in commercial laundry & ware washing equipment who are respected as a one-stop-solution in commercial appliances. They are growing sustainably & will be a great new employer for an experienced Service Engineer open to a new challenge.
The Field Service Engineer – Commercial Laundry/Ware washing role is based at the NW London industrial premises and is a valued part of the service team. This is the front line and image of our company, delivering high quality service and acting as an ambassador to our customer base.
You will be required to attend field service calls, diagnose, repair and report on findings on laundry equipment in and around London & Southeast. You will also recondition and install equipment as part of daily requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Checking & commissioning equipment installations
- Carrying out basic installations of equipment / dosing / ozone systems
- Preparing and testing ex-rental equipment ready to be supplied
- Routine maintenance visits to check equipment where required
- Maintaining van stock control and updating Salesforce inventory
You will have:
- Mechanical & electrical experience (Gas Safe preferred but not essential)
- Must be proficient in reading electrical schematics
- Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Good written and verbal skills
- Personable and professional; ability to work under own initiative and time management
- Good work ethic and enthusiasm with pride in all that they do
- Full UK (clean) driving licence
