Providing consulting and niche engineering and maintenance services predominantly to the energy, waste and biomass sectors across the UK and Ireland, we are an employer of choice, fostering a good team spirit and employee involvement at all levels.
THE ROLEWorking as part of a small team lead by the Team Leader to ensure allocated tasks are achieved on time and according to specification, whilst delivering essential plant/machinery maintenance and cleaning services. Manual role, working with specialist equipment, occasionally in confined space and at times challenging conditions (full training and PPE supplied).
- Complying with instructions to ensure client requirements are carried out efficiently, in line with risk assessments, method statements and operational procedures whilst following specified work instructions.
- Receipt, storage, transportation and use of tools and other equipment, to ensure reliable stock control and accurate equipment inventory records.
- Adhering to Health & Safety standards at all times both on and off site; keeping work areas clean and tidy, identifying and reporting any potential hazards.
- Carrying out equipment maintenance tasks and general yard duties as directed.
- Working on client sites, requiring a professional demeanor at all times.
- Driving licence (essential).
- Ability to travel from our Guildford site, and stay overnight in hotels as required (fully funded on expenses).
- Indefinite right to remain in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship).
- Able to self commute to our Guildford site, whilst you will drive our specialist vans, those are NOT taken home for personal use.
