Working field based in London region for this specialist provider of lightning protection, surge protection and earthing, who are part of a well-equipped niche engineering services group. They pride themselves on their high standards of customer service and to ensure this they provide all employees with extensive training.
Responsibilities
The Lightning Protection Engineer role involves working to risk assessment and method statements, installing lightning protection to British standard regulation BSEN 62305, and working as part of a team to ensure the job is completed to deadlines. You will travel independently in your region installing, inspecting, and testing lightning protection circuits on commercial and residential buildings and structures. Typical areas include LP Installations and LP Testing and remedials.
Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 in Lightning Protection
- Blue CSCS Card Holders
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer service skills
- Additional experience in HV & LV earthing and static earthing installations is beneficial
