You will work as part of a small team, in a ‘hands on’ capacity to deliver essential specialist plant and machinery maintenance and cleaning services to our growing and diverse client base. This is a manual role working with equipment in sometimes challenging environments, requiring travel from regional headquarters based in Middlesbrough.
PACKAGE
- Starting salary £28,000 increasing to £29,500 on completion of 6 month training/probationary period
- Additional allowances/overtime of circa £9,900 per annum apportioned paid into salary monthly
- Discretionary 10% annual bonus
- 30 days annual leave including statutory holidays, increasing by 1 day each completed year

- Realistic income in year one circa £38,700 and year two £39,900 based on 2025/26 actual figures

THE ROLE
- Working as part of a small customer facing team led by the Team Leader to ensure allocated tasks are achieved on time and according to specification, whilst delivering essential plant/machinery maintenance and cleaning services
- Manual role, working with specialist equipment, occasionally in confined space and at times challenging conditions (full training and PPE supplied)
- Complying with instructions to ensure client requirements are carried out efficiently, in line with risk assessments, method statements and operational procedures whilst following specified work instructions
- Receipt, storage, transportation and use of tools and other equipment, to ensure reliable stock control and accurate equipment inventory records
- Adhering to Health & Safety standards at all times both on and off site; keeping work areas clean and tidy, identifying and reporting any potential hazards
- Carrying out equipment maintenance tasks and general yard duties as directed
- Working on client sites, requiring a professional demeanor at all times
ABOUT YOU
This role is part of a customer facing team, therefore, it is vital that you are able to display a professional and knowledgeable demeanor when working onsite. You may come from an engineering or maintenance background, but we’re happy to be flexible since a full and comprehensive training programme will ensure you are off to the best start.
- Driving license (essential) since you will drive our specialist vans (those vans are NOT taken home for personal use)
- Ability to commute to and travel from our site in Middlesbrough, and flexibility to stay overnight in hotels as required (fully funded on expenses)
- Indefinite right to remain in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship)
