the Electrical Projects Engineer job itself where you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities within your area of control are engineered to specification, and delivered safely, profitably and to customer satisfaction.
Scope includes the Project Management, Coordination, Installation and commissioning of large scale lighting, power & specialist electrical systems retrofit for a large hospital/healthcare facility. Value of initial client/project £10M+ in value. More specifically:
- Participate in pre-commencement activities to maximise opportunities, efficiency and profitability
- Review the project scope of works to ensure precise provision of the customer’s requirements
- Lead the identification of project risks and opportunities, and take responsibility to mitigate or enhance those in your control
- Ensure engineering solutions are procured and delivered to financial and commercial objectives.
- Provide accurate and timely information on site progress to the Project Manager and Commercial Lead
- Manage any sub-contract resource if applicable.
- Provide leadership to project team members within your area of control, maximising performance and ensuring objectives are met.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Ensure project is closed out in accordance with customer requirements, maximising project profitability
You will have
To be successful as a Electrical Projects Engineer, you will have experience working within the Building Services Sector as a Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Site Manager, MEP Manager or M&E Manager. Plus a healthy mix of the following:
- Industry recognised trade or professional electrical qualification
- Specific experience on high value mechanical building service projects (£10m)
