YOUTH FLOATING SUPPORT WORKERS Could you assist young people to build the skills and confidence to find, set up and maintain their own homesin the community? MACS Youth Floating Support Servicesupports young people aged 16-25 in the community who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or need help maintaining their tenancy. Youth Floating Support Workerssupport on average 15 young people who receive individualised support based on support planning ongoing assessment/review and keeping safe were appropriate. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all young people are cared for by appropriate staff. Workers will meet the needs of the young people. Adhere to NISCC Standard of Conduct and MACS Policies and Procedures including, Child Protection, Adult Safeguarding and Lone Worker in order to safeguard and protect Young People and Staff. To provide Holistic Support (on a one to one and group basis) to all young people accessing the service. To identify Support Plans in partnership with Young People and Professionals/Service were appropriate and take the lead in creating safety plans and ensuring regular reviews. To provide awareness of the Housing Rights of Young People and to advocate on their behalf Working effectively within a team and ensuring information is communicated with Young People and external agencies. Key requirements: 1 years experience of working with young people in supported housing or community-based support or similar environment OR Degree in Social Work, Youth and Community Work or similar AND 6 months experience of working with young people in supported housing or community-based support. AND A full, current driving license with access to a car, insured for business use is required to meet the requirements of the post in full. Posts Available 3 x Full Time, Permanent, Belfast 1x 21 Hours, Permanent, Downpatrick 1x Full Time, Maternity Cover (Expected End Date April 2027), Newry 1x Full time, Permanent, Lisburn Salary: £27,078 per annum (Pro rata) Benefits: MACS Pension contribution of 4% of salary; up to 41 days annual leave (pro rata and including bank holidays); enhanced paid leave for Sick, Maternity and Carers leave; paid training days per year; Flexible and Hybrid working options available and Health Benefits.
