This is an exciting opportunity to join MACS as part of the Upstream NI project, an innovative schools-based homelessness prevention programmedesigned to identify and support young people at risk before they experience housing instability or family breakdown. The Family Mediation Project Workerwill provide targeted early interventionthrough family mediationand strengths-based supportto young people identified through the Upstream screening process. Working collaboratively with schools, families and partneragencies, the role aims to strengthen family relationships, improve communication and help young people remain safely at home wherever appropriate. Using trauma-informedand person-centredapproaches, the postholder will empower young people and their familiesto develop sustainable solutionsthat improve wellbeing, resilience and long-term outcomes.
