We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester for our busy workshop.
We are a family run business, Established in 1974. We are a fast paced garage with modern equipment and skills but working on old fashioned values. Our customer relationships are very important to us and we strive to proved an excellent service.
The person we are looking for is a motivated, positive and conscientious person who can work well as a team.
Employment package
- Competitive basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £42,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 5pm, with no weekend work, ensuring a good work-life balance
- 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays

Duties of the Role
- Conduct routine servicing and maintenance including brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts.
- Wet belt experience a plus
- Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics to identify issues accurately
- Carry out MOT testing for classes 4
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Keep detailed records of work carried out
- Support ongoing professional development and training
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT qualification
- Level 3 Vehicle technician qualification
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality
- Enthusiasm for working on multiple vehicle brands and models
