About The Role
The Assistant Pricing Manager supports the delivery of commercial and cost management activities across the Operate business. The role assists in the development of commercial solutions by ensuring that estimates and pricing submissions are prepared in accordance with company procedures and governance requirements. The successful candidate will provide support throughout tender and procurement activities, contributing to commercial analysis, benchmarking, pricing exercises, and contract administration. The post holder will develop an understanding of commercial models, contractual requirements, and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the analysis and evaluation of supplier commercial proposals and provide findings to the Commercial Lead during tender activities.
- Assist in the preparation and development of commercial submissions, pricing schedules, and tender documentation.
- Contribute to the production of commercial estimates in accordance with organisational procedures and governance requirements.
- Support cost planning, budgeting, and estimating activities.
- Assist with tender preparation activities, including the completion of pricing templates using digital tools.
- Maintain commercial data and benchmarking information.
- Provide administrative support to Commercial team members.
- Build effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting cost planning, budgeting and estimating.
- Experience working to demanding deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
