About The Role
In this role, you will be a dedicated resource within the Back of House Services team, supporting stakeholder requirements as part of a three-person team responsible for Goods In/Goods Out, Postal Services, Service Yard Management, Porterage, and Stores operations at the state-of-the-art facility located at the client site.
You will be responsible for the safe operation, use, and upkeep of Forklift Trucks (FLTs) and Stringos as part of the Macro Group service offering.
The role requires you to provide both internal and external customers with a high-quality service, creating a positive and lasting impression through the consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
You will demonstrate a proactive approach to the timely receipt, dispatch, and movement of goods to designated internal locations for a variety of stakeholders, while also supporting Service Yard and Waste Management activities.
In addition, you will be expected to work overtime as required and adhere to the agreed shift patterns to support operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain customer satisfaction at the highest level at all times and effectively and accurately communicate relevant information where required.

- Deliver a customer-focused, end-to-end Back of House (BoH) service, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and professionalism at all times.
- Coordinate Goods In/Out operations, including the receipt, distribution, and collection of deliveries, post, and packages, while maintaining accurate records and audit trails.
- Provide porterage support, including the safe movement of equipment and the coordination of logistical requirements for internal events and special activities.
- Operate forklift trucks and associated equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with site procedures, risk assessments, and health and safety regulations.
- Execute Client User Requests (CURs) and maintain accurate task records using fm24 to ensure service requirements are delivered effectively.
- Maintain a safe working environment through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and safe systems of work, responding proactively to operational and emergency requests.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the service yard, including vehicle and visitor access, contractor coordination, and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
- Oversee waste management activities, including waste segregation, scheduled and ad hoc collections, record-keeping, consignment documentation, and compliance with environmental and legislative requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and monitor service yard operations to identify and address potential hazards, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) standards.
- Support the management of stores and PPE provisions, ensuring equipment and supplies are maintained, organised, and readily available for engineers and site visitors.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and colleagues, resolving queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner while maintaining confidentiality and data security standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach by supporting additional operational requirements and continuously contributing to the efficient delivery of Back of House services.

- Educated to CSE/GCSE level, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications.
- Manual Handling training.
