About the Role
In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to the account operation teams, taking budgetary responsibility for the accounts allocated to you. You will manage available resources, promote a team-oriented ethos, and instil a culture of continuous improvement. You will ensure that various sub-contracted service providers deliver safe and consistent services while promoting a culture of safe service excellence. You will develop trust-based relationships with clients and deliver the required performance data.
Main Job Responsibilities will include:
- Service Delivery: Operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring the quality of services provided is continually improved and exceeds customer expectations.
- Best Practice Implementation: Implement best practice procedures in line with company policy and client-specified standards for QSHEW, quality, environmental, and technical standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Ensure a high level of service is achieved through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance.
- Emergency Management: Take control and responsibility in emergency situations, act as the point of escalation for the team, and ensure seniors are consulted and informed.
- Financial Management: Handle budget responsibility and financial reporting to the client and Macro.
- Risk Management: Minimise risk and maintain or improve profitability against agreed targets.
- Relationship Management: Manage client and team relations effectively.
- Strategic and Technical Support: Provide general advice to customers, peers, and the team.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for and with Macro.
General responsibilities:
- Advise Senior Management: Inform senior management of any perceived risks and mitigation actions.
- Report Submission: Submit succinct reports to your line manager, including information on people, clients, and finance.
- Performance Reporting: Produce monthly performance reports for your client and Sector Director and be the first point of contact for all contract interfaces with the client.
- Communication: Ensure 360° communication by cascading information to customers, peers, and the team, while keeping the Macro management team fully informed.
- People Management: Handle line management of staff through mentoring, developing, coaching, and appraising.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Considerable experience in an FM leadership senior management role.
- Proven experience managing a high profile, quality led P&L contract.
- Experience leading a team with a significant budget.
- Significant experience within a multi service line FM environment.
- Excellent relationship management at all levels.
- Ideally, have a recognised qualification within FM.
- Health and safety qualification is also preferred.
