Reports to: Head of Marketing

Location: Manchester, UK (Office-based, with up to 2 days of remote working per week)

Role Overview: We are seeking a data-driven and innovative eCommerce Marketing Manager to join our team. Your mission will be to deliver year-on-year revenue growth, increase gross revenue, and improve home renewal rates. You will be key in driving business performance by identifying and optimising underperforming website pages and implementing conversion-focused strategies. Collaboration with our Product, Development, and Marketing teams will be essential to refresh and enhance the user experience, ensuring increased revenue and customer retention. Additionally, you will implement and manage an affiliate marketing program to drive incremental traffic and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth and Retention: Develop and execute strategies to achieve 20% year-on-year revenue growth. Drive initiatives to increase home renewal rates to 80%, improving customer loyalty and retention.
  • Website Optimization: Identify underperforming website pages through data analysis and customer feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Development) to refresh and enhance website pages, focusing on improved UX/UI and increased conversions. Test and implement innovative tactics, such as A/B testing, personalisation, and SEO optimisation, to boost page performance.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Partner with the Marketing Campaigns Manager to increase traffic to the website through targeted campaigns and digital initiatives. Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager to revise, optimise, and create content that aligns with website improvements and business goals. Maintain alignment with Product, Design, and Development teams to ensure marketing strategies translate effectively into website enhancements.
  • Affiliate Marketing Program: Identify, implement, and manage an affiliate marketing program to drive incremental revenue and expand our marketing reach. Build and maintain relationships with affiliate partners to ensure consistent performance and alignment with business goals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to track, measure, and evaluate website performance and customer behaviour. Generate actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns. Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential: Proven track record of driving significant eCommerce revenue growth and improving customer retention rates. Strong knowledge of website optimisation tactics, including A/B testing, SEO, and CRO. Experience in implementing and managing affiliate marketing programs. Data-driven decision-making approach with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and CMS platforms. Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate across departments. Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, user behaviour, and conversion funnels. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in the technology or software industry. AI-driven individual with experience in using it to accelerate eCommerce insights and results. Familiarity with subscription or renewal-based business models.
