We are recruiting on behalf of a Civil Engineering contractor working on major infrastructure and construction projects across Scotland. Due to ongoing contract wins and growth, we are looking for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join their expanding team based from Thornliebank. This is a temporary position that could lead to long term ongoing work for the right candidate.

The Role:

As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials to and from site, including aggregates, muck, spoil, and other construction-related loads. You will play a key role in keeping projects running on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and professionally
  • Transport materials between sites, quarries, and landfills
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
  • Comply with all health & safety procedures and transport regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and driver logs

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years tipper driving experience
  • Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Good timekeeping and professional attitude
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish road networks

Hours & Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday Start at 06:00 Typical finish between 16:30 - 17:30

Pay: Competitive hourly rates ranging around £15.00 - £17.00 per hour depending on experience and duties.
