Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in East Kilbride, currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their team. Position: Press Brake Operator
Location: East Kilbride
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly rate: £14.50 (depending on experience), increasing to £16 when permanent
Hours: Mon
Wed: 6:30am
5:00pm
Thurs: 6:30am
3:00pm
Fri & Sat: Overtime available. Key Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate press brake machinery
– Manufacture components to customer specifications and tolerances
– Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
– Carry out quality checks throughout production
– Ensure correct tooling is selected and maintained
– Assist in the development of new projects
– Keep machine and surrounding area clean and safe
– Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
– Work flexibly to meet production demands. Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and leading press brake operations
– Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tight tolerances
– High attention to detail and commitment to quality
– Good problem-solving skills and team mentality
– Flexibility to support overtime and project deadlines
– Good level of IT literacy
