Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in East Kilbride, currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their team. Position: Press Brake Operator
Location: East Kilbride
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly rate: Β£14.50 (depending on experience), increasing to Β£16 when permanent
Hours: Mon
Wed: 6:30am
5:00pm
Thurs: 6:30am
3:00pm
Fri & Sat: Overtime available. Key Responsibilities:
β Set up and operate press brake machinery
β Manufacture components to customer specifications and tolerances
β Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
β Carry out quality checks throughout production
β Ensure correct tooling is selected and maintained
β Assist in the development of new projects
β Keep machine and surrounding area clean and safe
β Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
β Work flexibly to meet production demands. Requirements:
β Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and leading press brake operations
β Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tight tolerances
β High attention to detail and commitment to quality
β Good problem-solving skills and team mentality
β Flexibility to support overtime and project deadlines
β Good level of IT literacy
