Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in East Kilbride, currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their team.
Position: Press Brake OperatorLocation: East KilbrideType: Full-time, PermanentHourly rate: £14.50 (depending on experience), increasing to £16 when permanentHours: Mon Wed: 6:30am 5:00pmThurs: 6:30am 3:00pmFri & Sat: Overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate press brake machinery- Manufacture components to customer specifications and tolerances- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately- Carry out quality checks throughout production- Ensure correct tooling is selected and maintained- Assist in the development of new projects- Keep machine and surrounding area clean and safe- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies- Work flexibly to meet production demands.
Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and leading press brake operations- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tight tolerances- High attention to detail and commitment to quality- Good problem-solving skills and team mentality- Flexibility to support overtime and project deadlines- Good level of IT literacy- Contribute to company values and team work.
