Job Description
Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver Roofing Specialist
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver to join a well-established roofing specialist based in Uddingston. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering consistent hours and the chance to secure a long-term role.
Start Date: Monday 7th April
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB grab
- Delivering roofing materials to various sites
- Assisting with loading/unloading where required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- HIAB certification (Grab attachment essential)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Good knowledge of health & safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
