Our payroll team plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organisation. Working closely with colleagues across Operations, People and Culture, Finance, Operational Risk, and the wider business, as well as external payroll providers, we strive to deliver a seamless payroll experience. The team is dedicated to maintaining compliance, supporting our employees, and continually improving our payroll processes. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

As Payroll Manager, you work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our payroll operations. You use your strong interpersonal, analytical, and research skills to solve problems, identify and deliver process improvements, and help reduce risk. You respond to queries from stakeholders, always aiming to provide clear and timely solutions. Your attention to detail supports accurate payroll processing and compliance with relevant legislation. You contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our payroll systems and procedures.

What you offer:

  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and regulations, with a focus on general tax compliance.

  • Ability to analyse large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
