Help shape the future of infrastructure and energy investment. Joining Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure Principal team, you will gain exposure to opportunities across energy transition, digital infrastructure and economic and social infrastructure, supporting investments that drive long-term impact. This internship offers the opportunity to work on live transactions while developing your commercial and analytical skills alongside experienced professionals.
As an Off-Cycle Intern within the Infrastructure Principal team, you will work closely with experienced investors to evaluate potential investment opportunities across digital and energy infrastructure sectors, helping to identify, analyse and execute transactions that support the team's broad investment mandate. In this role you will have exposure to financial modelling, market analysis, due diligence and investment materials that will enable you to build practical experience while contributing to decision‑making on new and existing investments. Working collaboratively across a variety of projects, you will support transaction origination and assessment activities and help create insights that inform strategic investment outcomes. You will report to senior members of the Infrastructure Principal team and will engage with stakeholders across investment, advisory and portfolio management activities.
We are looking to fill 6-month internship slots from January 2027.
