Join our newly formed Global Valuation and Portfolio Analytics team, which serves to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and quality of all fund-level performance data and reporting, as well as delivering various portfolio analysis to fund leads. This role will entail supporting our flagship Wealth product, the Macquarie Energy Transition Infrastructure fund, which invests globally across real assets, private credit and public markets to deliver stable returns and yield for investors pursuing exposure to the energy transition.

What role will you play?
Working closely with asset teams and external valuers, you will lead the valuation process across relevant funds, monitor and flag any material changes, and assist on quarterly and annual valuation processes. You will also review and challenge valuations, prepare and present valuation papers, and provide asset-by-asset valuation and return analysis and narrative.
Supporting the broader effort to optimise performance, you will provide analytical insights across the portfolio, conduct market benchmarking, track and report key performance metrics and trends across the portfolio, support asset allocation and liquidity management analysis, and participate in fund strategy and portfolio composition discussions. You will also prepare performance overview commentary for investor reports and manage regular portfolio calls with internal teams, coordinating input to support fund reporting and decision-making.
What you offer
- Proven experience in infrastructure or renewables valuations, capable of leading the end-to-end valuation processes from internal review and challenge through to independent valuer engagement, committee presentation and sign-off.
- Proficiency with valuation methodologies (DCF, market comparables, income approach) and able to produce asset-by-asset valuation analyses and bridge commentary.
- Adept at producing portfolio-level insights, including valuation driver and bridge analysis, market benchmarking, KPI tracking, and liquidity and allocation assessments.
- Experience maintaining and enhancing management processes, framework and policies, such as valuation policies, controls and governance frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and manage effective relationships across global, cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modelling) and PowerPoint; experience with eFront, Workiva, or Aladdin is advantageous.
